PPP market is a real alternative to EU funds

There are still several years left until the end of the 2014-2020 EU budgeting period. The market will manage to accommodate this. I do not see any real dangers. These funds can be replaced by, for example, local money. The PPP market is a real alternative - said Krzysztof Kałuża, ECM Group Polska.
In the future, the projects which are now being financed with the EU funds could be financed by private investors. There could be some infrastructural projects and those conducted in cooperation with local governments, like revitalisation of the city districts. We will manage to prepare for the new conditions during these six years we have left. The other alternative is to further develop special economic zones. The EU funds are not so often used for this purpose, but the zones make a very good development direction and an investment safe haven. // The domination of infrastructural projects will fade away after the 2014-2020 EU budgeting ends. The sustainable growth of cities will be a challenge. Revitalizations are to be the new ground for the urban development.
