Goodman's financial results and new investments

The last financial year was another good year for our company in Poland where we were able to develop our portfolio to over 600,000 sqm of space which is currently under our management. This excellent result was achieved, among others, thanks to the delivery of two large projects in Poland: first in Poznan of over 82,000 sqm for Intermarche and second, one of the largest in Poland, for Amazon of 123,000 sqm in Wrocław.

Simultaneously, within the last 12 months, we have started the construction of an additional 135,000 sqm of pre-let and speculative investments. There are over 50,000 sqm of space in speculative projects under construction at the moment. Within the last 12 months, we have signed lease agreements for over 186,000 sqm of warehouse space in Poland. In the meantime, we achieved big success in the dynamic development of our existing logistics centres, namely, in Gdansk and Kraków.

We have also commenced the construction works at four new locations: Poznań, Wrocław, Gliwice and Lublin. However, our greatest success is the enhancement of cooperation with our existing customers such as Intercars in Sosnowiec or Nissin in Toruń and the commencement of cooperation with new customers such as Gestamp in Wroclaw and Mueller in Toruń. The warehouse market in Poland will continue to grow dynamically. Its growth in recent years allows us to think that we will be able to rapidly expand our portfolio in coming years. Based on our vast international experience, we carefully observe different trends in our sector.

We hope that production, logistics and e-commerce companies, which show the highest demand for new warehouse space, will continue to grow. Recently we have seen that other, not-so-developed locations, such as Lublin, may become a good choice for companies considering to start operations where there is easy access to labour force and good growth opportunities.
