At least a couple of Holiday Inn Express hotels to open in the next three years

The priority is to find locations in major Polish cities. The new hotels will be built according to the network’s new strategy of opening new generation Holiday Inn Expresses strategy. IHG is considering Warsaw and other large cities in northern and southern Poland. For the company, more important than which city is the location of a plot and the ease of access. “Holiday Inn Expresses can be designed as standard hotels or as a mixed-use projects,” commented Miguel Martins, the development director for Poland of InterContinental Hotels Group. Today IHG has only one Holiday Inn Express in Poland – at the Okęcie Airport in Warsaw. “Our intention is spread out the chain across major, secondary and tertiary cities in Poland.
