Eurobuild TV: Roma Tower approaches development stage

“We hope that this year the zoning plan for ul. Poznańska and its surrounding streets will be completed, so we can work with the Warsaw Diocese on the Roma Tower project on ul. Nowogrodzka,” said Rafał Szczepański, the vice president of the management board of BBI Development.
“We are working very hard on Centrum Praskie Koneser right now. The first building has already been revitalised and now new ones are under construction. Next year there will be 20 tower cranes on the plot, which will be employed until 2017 on the mixed-use section of Koneser to hand it to Warsaw inhabitants. Koneser is mixed-use project: a residential, office/retail and cultural concept, incorporating the Museum of Polish Vodka. Except for the residential section, our partner for the other parts of the project is Liebrecht & Wood group, which was also our partner for the Plac Unii project. The work on the commercial section should begin in early 2015. This is the main part of the project. The vice president of the management board of BBI Development has also informed that the company is to start working on the Centrum Marszałkowska project at the end of 2014, first demolishing the existing building on the site and later constructing the new buildings. The project will be connected directly to the Świętokrzyska metro station.
