Eurobuild TV: New Victoria unveils its new face

“The New Victoria building is basically unknown territory for the agencies. Most agents are coming here for the first time, even though the building has already had a tenant,” said Maciej Zajdel, the managing director and head of IVG in Poland, during a recent event for leasing consultants organised by Eurobuild CEE.
“It was designed by the Jems Architekci architectural studio and it is a timeless building, but because of the fact that the same company owned and leased the building, it was not known on the market,” said Maciej Zajdel. He also stressed that it is only the second building in Warsaw after Rondo 1 to receive a LEED ‘Gold’ for existing buildings certificate. “We would like Victoria to be a multi-tenant building, but we have had interest in all 12,000 sqm and also in half of the building, as well as in 4,000 and 5,000 sqm. There are also tenants who would like to rent one or two storeys. So we hope the building will be leased relatively soon,” said Maciej Zajdel. “The Victoria office building is still being partly used by Kredyt Bank, but we are already in the commercialisation process. Part of the space has been already vacated by the bank and we have now started the renovations. We would like to welcome new tenants at the end of 2014 or in early 2015,” added Maciej Zajdel.
