International Children's Day - trip around Warsaw office buildings

Children rise to the top

On Children's Day, Eurobuild organised a tour of Warsaw’s skyscrapers for children from the Iskierka Foundation.

On the morning of the tour, our Silesian guests left their hotel to visit the tallest buildings in Warsaw including the Warsaw Spire, the Q22 and the Rondo 1 office buildings and also the Marriott hotel. At each address they were warmly greeted with a surprise. The first stop was the 41st floor of the Warsaw Spire, from where they could look out at the view of the city and were told the story of the construction of the tower. The tour also included ice-creams and a commemorative ‘I love Warsaw’ photo. After a short walk, the party came knocking on the doors of the Q22 office building, where a large number of attractions had been prepared. These included superheroes who came abseiling down the glass façade. Commemorative photos were taken of those who wanted to sit at the wheel of a Fiat 126p parked on the 35th floor. At the Rondo 1 skyscraper the party visited the building's security centre, and were let loose on the controls of the building’s CCTV cameras. The last stop on the trip was the Marriott hotel, where the party was taken on a tour of those areas that are normally off limits, including the presidential suite and the hotel’s kitchen. The hotel had also specially prepared sweets for the children. After a delicious dinner at the Champions Sport Bar & Restaurant, it was time for the children to go back home. On their behalf, we would like to thank Ghelamco/Warsaw Spire, Invesco/Q22, EPP, Rondo 1 and JLL, who partnered us in the programme. And we would also like to give special thanks to the Marriott hotel for organising the accommodation for our guests.
