Sheraton no.2
Construction of the second Sheraton Hotel in Poland started at the end of
June. The 238-room hotel is being built in Kraków (South Poland) by the Wisła river and
is scheduled for completion in Spring 2004.
NDI, a Polish company from Sopot (North Poland) and the Belgium BESIX are the developers.
Warta Hotels Development is their investment partner with PKO BP Starwood Hotels &
Resorts will operate the hotel. Tishman International Corporation (owner's representative)
and Cocefi (general constructor) are involved in the construction process.

...Muranów
Eiffage Polska has started initial works on the construction of French hotel operator
Accor's new hotel. Construction of the Ibis Muranowska Hotel, being built at the
intersection of ul. Andersa and ul. Muranowska in Warsaw, will take 17 months. The third
Ibis hotel in Warsaw and the fifth in Poland is slated for delivery in November 2003.
Ibis Muranowska will comprise 8 storeys, 333 rooms with 7 suites and 7 rooms for disabled
guests, as well as 7 conference rooms, a restaurant, café and parking for 75 vehicles.
The hotel design was prepared by Antoni Kozielski and Adam Walczak from the Warsaw based
Art-Group. ,The hotel's interior was designed in accordance with the investor's
guidelines, as it must meet standards common to all Ibis hotels," says Antoni
Kozielski.

Another French hotel operator, Groupe Envergure, is to start construction on another new
hotel in Warsaw, according to information we received from Echo Investment
representatives, the French company's business partner. Construction of the project, which
is located near Plac Zawiszy on a site between ul. Srebrna, ul. Platynowa and ul. Twarda,
will be undertaken by the Kielce based Mitex.
Envergure wants to build a complex with 495 rooms comprising a 1-star Premiere Classe
hotel, a 2-star Campanile hotel and a 3-star Kyriad hotel. Warsaw based Arca Architects
and Consultants designed the project. The cost of investment is estimated at PLN 85 mln.
