85,000

Big picture
85 000 is the size in square metres of the Galeria Młociny shopping centre in Warsaw, developed by a joint venture between EPP and Echo Investment in an investment of PLN 640 mln.

Galeria Młociny was opened on May 23rd on ul. Zgrupowania AK ‘Kampinos’ in the city’s Bielany district, next to Młociny metro station. It is Warsaw’s second largest mall. In the first week of its operations, 350,000 people visited the centre, which has more than 200 stores as well as one of the city’s largest food courts. It is also the largest retail project Echo Investment has developed so far. Around 20 pct of its area is social space – for meetings, entertainment and eating out. EPP owns a 70 pct stake in the building with Echo Investment holding the remaining 30 pct. The complex is managed by EPP, while Echo Investment is responsible for the centre’s development and commercialisation. Galeria Młociny was purchased as an ongoing project from the Master Management Group in March 2017 for EUR 104.5 mln. The general contractor was Erbud, which received over PLN 590 mln in payment for the work. The design was by Kuryłowicz & Associates and Chapman Taylor, while the design of the restaurant zone (which with the terrace covers an area of 2,300 sqm) was prepared by Broadway Malyan.
