Marcin Pałażej

Marcin Pałażej has been appointed CEO of Duka International, which operates a chain of kitchen accessory stores. He is to support the company in its international expansion and the development of online sales. “We believe that Marcin’s presence and his previous professional experience will provide our company with retail competencies at the highest global standard,” commented Radosław Kaczmarek, the financial director of Duka International. Marcin has more than 15 years of experience in retail, having been employed by national and international brands where he was responsible for operational management, strategic planning as well as activities related to the development and reorganisation of retail chains. Before joining Duka, he was a deputy CEO of CCC. He also previously acted as an independent business advisor for the LPP group. In 2005–2011 held the position of CEO of Inditex Polska, introducing six brands of the company to the Polish market. In 2011–2015, at Inditex Spain he was responsible for its brands in Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Poland, Bulgaria and Kazakhstan. Prior to joining Inditex, he was the financial director and operational director of Empik Group.
