Guillaume de Colonges

Guillaume de Colonges has been appointed president of Carrefour and replaces Jean Anthoine. He has worked for Carrefour for over 21 years. He started his career with the group in France in 1992. After six years, he was promoted to the commercial director of the non-food department in Poland, where he was responsible for the openings of the first Carrefour stores. Later, he was appointed commercial and logistic director for Turkey and in 2006 he became the supermarket development director. In 2008 he took the position of COO in Taiwan and was subsequently appointed the president of Carrefour in Singapore and Malaysia. In 2010 he returned to Turkey where he managed 245 shops as the CEO Guillaume de Colonges is a graduate of economics and has completed an advanced management programme from the Harvard Business School in the United States. Guillaume is married and has three children.
