Jacek Bagiński

Empik Media & Fashion’s major shareholders has decided to strengthen the company’s financial stance by appointing Jacek Bagiński to the supervisory board. The current financial director of the company, and a member of its management board, will replace Marek Modecki as a member of the supervisory board. After taking up his new position in September, Bagiński will be supporting both financial and operational strategies of Empik Media & Fashion. He will also resign from the other two positions held at the company. Jacek Bagiński joined EM&F in 2007. He was responsible for creating and implementing the company’s financial strategy and played a key role in managing the company’s finances as well as supervising strategic acquisitions and sales transactions. Formerly, from 2000 to 2006, he served as the financial director and a board member in two other Warsaw-listed companies: Opoczno and Polfa Kutno. From 1996 to 1999, he worked at PepsiCo, where he was responsible for a number of managerial tasks at the financial department. He graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics with a degree in Foreign Trade.
