Dawid Lasek

has been appointed to be the undersecretary of state in the Ministry of Sports and Tourism. He graduated from the faculties of law and administration as well as management and social communication at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. He was the scientific secretary of Polish and French European studies at the université de Paris XIII, IUT de Saint Denis. In 2001 the main focus of his professional career became the Carpathian Euroregion. He was the manager of cross-border programmes and from 2007 was its vice-president. Dawid has rich experience of cooperation with the Swiss, where he developed and introduced the ‘Carpathia’ brand. He was also a member of the sustainable tourism team of the Carpathian Convention. In 2006-2007 he was the director of the regional cooperation department at the Ministry of Regional Development. He speaks five foreign languages: English, French, Russian, Slovak and Ukrainian.
