Adam Pieńkowski

Adam Pieńkowski has been appointed president of the management board, as of May 19th. He has been employed by McDonald’s for ten years. Adam started his career in the company as the marketing and research manager. Two years later he became the head of the marketing department at McDonald’s Polska. In 2009 he was given an additional function, becoming responsible for the marketing strategy of the sports sponsoring in the European structures of the chain.

In 2013 he moved to McDonald’s Germany. As the senior marketing director he was responsible for the development of the marketing strategy in Germany and supported other countries in the region. At the beginning of last September he returned to Poland. As the multi-department senior director he supervised the work of the marketing, business insight, operational and digital departments. Adam is a graduate of the faculty of marketing and management at the Warsaw School of Economics. Before 2016 he worked for Levi’s Poland and Kraft Foods, where he held a number of positions in marketing departments on the Polish market and in their international structures.
