Industrial construction in Poland – stagnation or development?
The industrial construction market is developing all the time and in Poland the demand in this field is becoming more and more evident. However, it is an extremely difficult market for design studios and construction companies. To be able to keep up with the market the companies that created such facilities a few years ago are now having to expand all the time to respond to changing trends and the increasing requirements of clients. The value of construction output in terms of industrial construction has been gradually increasing since 2010. This is mostly due to the development of larger numbers of industrial and warehouse facilities. The demand for such services should stay at the current, high level as the general mood improves, not only on the Polish market but also across Europe, and we can expect to see further growth in warehouse and industrial construction.
While planning an industrial project you need to remember that the best location for this kind of development is an industrial area where you can see a large potential of pool of labour for a particular industry, where there is the possibility to integrate all the utilities, and which has normal soil and water conditions. It is also important for an industrial plant to be built on a plot twice the size of the building, to allow for further extension.
