Eurobuild Awards 2015 – Starting from the beginning
Eurobuild AwardsThings certainly didn't cool down at the turn of the year after the Eurobuild Awards 2014 were over. Now the sixth edition of the Eurobuild Awards lies ahead of us and the work on these projects has advanced even further. In order to satisfy all the participants of this prestigious event, every year we endeavour to improve it and so we are implementing a series of changes. The first important change has already been decided: the location of the Awards Gala. After five years we are moving to the biggest ballroom in the city, which is in the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel. We believe this change will provide you with more comfort and a new experience of this event.
But before this happens we obviously have to go through the nomination and voting process. We will again have four main award categories:
- The Tenants’ Awards – the winners are to be chosen in a survey of tenants in selected buildings across Poland. The tenants rate the various aspects of the building they are in and at the end choose the winners.
- The Jury Awards – individual juries made up of leading market professionals choose the winning project or company in each category.
- The Popular Choice Awards – the winners are to be selected in two steps. In the first stage the jury members will choose the top three projects and finally the gala attendees will select the winners.
- The Lifetime Achievement Award, decided by ‘Eurobuild CEE’ magazine.
We have also made further improvements to some of the jury and the popular choice awards categories this year and continued to strengthen the entry criteria to ensure the judging process is as transparent as possible. We have also changed the category list. Some categories remain fixtures and will feature as they have done every year. However, the competition in some sectors has never been so strong, and therefore a few categories have been replaced by others. For example, instead of New Retailer of the Year, Best Performance on the Warsaw Stock Exchange of a Developer/Construction Company, New Hotel of the Year and Outstanding Business Achievement, we are introducing the Investor of the Year category for CEE region and the Woman of the Year in Real Estate for Poland. We believe that the competition will be more exciting and the gala will also be a little shorter – which might also be appreciated by some of you.
More details about each category can be found in the relevant sections of our website www.eurobuildawards.com.
We very much look forward to receiving your entries and to meeting all the finalists on the night of the Eurobuild Awards Gala.
We will inform you soon about the details and subsequent stages of the Eurobuild Awards 2015, so please look out for our announcements.
