POLAND Galeria Galena shopping centre in Jaworzno has debuted on November 20th.

The 31,000 sqm property will house 100 shops, a six-screen Multikino cinema, a Fabryka Formy fitness club, a bowling club as well as the Gravitacja music club, the Iska dance school and the Bajkowy Labirynt children’s playground. “The facility is 95-pct leased and the last few lease contracts are now being finalized. Galeria Galena is a much awaited project in Jaworzno. It is being developed on a revitalized site formerly taken by the Jaworzno coalmine. We return this part of the city to residents by offering not only retail but also entertainment,” said Ewa Bobkowska, the president of the board at P.A. Nova which is the mall’s developer. Customers will be able to use 835 parking spaces. The PLN 191.5 mln Galeria Galena obtained a PLN 72 mln loan within the EU JESSICA programme and a PLN 57 mln commercial loan. Mayland Real Estate supported the developer in commercializing the property.
