Rafał Ostrowski has over 17 years’ experience as a journalist. Before joining ‘Eurobuild CEE’ five years ago, he wrote for Wydawnictwo Murator and Shopping Centre Magazine, as well as for retailnet.pl. He has also written for many newspapers and magazines as a freelancer and prepared photo-reportages. Rafał graduated from the University of Warsaw in philosophy. He also completed postgraduate studies in text editing. For ‘Eurobuild CEE’ he covers most real estate sectors, including logistics, construction, office, residential and retail. He is also in charge of the film direction for Eurobuild TV.

MegaGrinn to open in Kursk
MegaGrinn is to offer 129,000 sqm of leasable space
RUSSIA Kursk-based developer Grinn Corporation is planning to open its MegaGrinn mixed-use project in Kursk in 2016.
The 230,000 sqm centre (including 129,000 sqm of leasable space) located on Karl Marx street, will include a shopping centre (60,000 sqm gla), an amusement park (24,000 sqm), sport facilities (32,000 sqm), a 116-room hotel, a business centre and a car park for 2,400 vehicles. The construction work, which started in 2013, is now reaching its final stages. The developer is planning to open the first stage of the complex (the lower four storeys) in March next year, while the rest of the project (another five storeys) should be open by September. According to the Russian press, investment costs are to come to app. RUB 14 bln (app. EUR 190 mln).
