Transneft buys Evolution Tower
The twisted tower in Moscow City has been developed by Snegiri Development

RUSSIA Oil giant Transneft has bought the Evolution Tower office building in Moscow City. According to CBRE, which included the transaction in its latest office market report, the deal was closed in December.

The report states that Transneft has bought 79,000 sqm of leasable space. That is the entire office part of the Evolution Tower complex, which includes also a shopping centre. The plans of the Russian oil company to buy one of the most recognisable buildings in Moscow City first leaked to press in 2014. At that time the possible market value of the property was estimated by market experts at USD 1 bln. The developer of the 255m, 51-storey tower is Snegiri Development.
