Changes at the top at Apsys
Benoît Charles is the new head of Apsys Polska
POLAND/FRANCE Benoît Charles, formerly Immochan's director of development, promotion and construction, is to replace Fabrice Bansay as the head of Apsys Polska.

Fabrice Bansay, meanwhile, is to be appointed managing director of the entire Apsys group. The changes in the management of the company form part of the reorganisation of the company and the establishment of the general directorate of the Apsys group, which will be responsible for Poland and France.

“In order to continue our development and constantly increase the value of its assets, Apsys has created the group’s general directorate. This is to be responsible for activities in Poland and France as well as the successful execution of our business plan. It will be led by Fabrice Bansay, the current managing director in charge of Apsys Polska. Maurice Bansay, the president and founder of the Apsys group, will remain as president of the board and will focus on the company’s strategy, its finances and development,” reads a company announcement.

In 2007–2013, Benoît Charles was the managing director of Immochan Polska and had been previously employed by Apsys for a three-year period. The general directorate of the group will start its operations in the autumn. In Poland, Fabrice Bansay will be working in tandem with Benoit Charles until the Posnania shopping centre is opened (autumn 2016) and in France will be working with Mark Wainberg, the deputy general director, and Claire Vandromme, the finance director.

“This year Apsys is celebrating its 20th anniversary. I am convinced that the position of our company is currently the strongest in its entire history. Not only on individual markets, such as the Polish and French, but also globally thanks to our projects that meet the expectations of customers, cities and tenants. The new organisation of the company is based on our experienced staff and will allow us to build and manage an increasing number of shopping centres that support the development of cities and often become their symbols,” said Maurice Bansay.
