Skanska chooses Medusa

Architecture and urban planning
POLAND Skanska has selected the Medusa architectural studio to design its first office project in the TriCity.
The building to be developed at ul. Grunwaldzka 343-345 on a 0.9 ha plot is to offer 42,000 sqm gla. The preparation work is scheduled to start in mid-2017 with Skanska acting as the general contractor, while Skanska Property Poland will be responsible for the commercialisation. The project is to be LEED certified. This will be the eighth project that Medusa has designed for Skanska over the last ten years with a portfolio of building designs that already includes Green Horizon in Łódź, Kapelanka 42 in Kraków, Dominikański in Wrocław, which was built onto a revitalised Baroque palace, Nowa Fabryczna, which is currently under development in Łódź, and Silesia Business Park in Katowice. “Together with the Medusa group, we have designed over 200,000 sqm of modern office space. This is equivalent to nearly half of the office space available in Gdańsk,” commented Łukasz Kaleciński, a regional director at Skanska Property Poland.
