NoEM to combat electrosmog
TechnologyNoEM successfully reduces the strength of electromagnetic fields in human environments, explains the manufacturer of the NoEM system. This issue has taken of particular importance since an EU directive came into force last July aimed at protecting workers from electromagnetic fields and could eventually make its way into the health and safety regulations applied by member states. The company emphasises that NoEM is the first system designed to combat electrosmog available globally.
NoEM comes in the form of an undercoat of paint that screens and absorbs frequencies harmful to humans. It is based on Ceraqion Technology – a system developed by Polish scientist Stanisław Wosiński, who devoted many years to the study of water and ceramic properties. The system he developed based on this research, which impedes low frequency electrical fields, has been patented and has received international recognition in the form of several awards. NoEM’s intelligent system absorbs the most harmful frequencies between 0.1 and 100,000 Hz while letting through the natural Earth’s natural field of 7.8 Hz. The application of the shield does not disturb mobile phone or Wi-Fi reception. NoEM not only screens and absorbs the electric field, but thanks to its ‘4-in-1’ properties it also serves as white paint, a primer and an antistatic cover. It is also fully ecological, safe and easy to use, thus enabling the broad application of the shield. It should be of use not only to the electronics, medical and military sectors, but also individual clients. NoEM is already available from over 34 sales outlets all over Poland.
Electromagnetic (EM) fields are a naturally occurring phenomenon. However, the development of electrification has resulted in a proliferation of artificial EM fields, such as those generated by high voltage lines or mobile towers. EM fields of frequencies considerably higher than the maximum regarded as tolerable to humans are often emitted by electronic devices inside apartments, medical centres, offices, public institutions, schools and military facilities – and these are usually invisible, hidden under walls and floors; cables also generate such fields. The EU directive addresses both the thermal and biophysical effects on human health. The biophysical effects can include dizziness, headaches, nausea, mood swings, chronic tiredness, sleeplessness, heart rhythm disruptions as well as disruptions in the operation of muscles, the brain and other organs.
