Outlet Park Szczecin finds New Balance

POLAND The New Balance sports footwear chain has leased 280 sqm in Outlet Park Szczecin in Szczecin’s Prawobrzeże district.

The store is to open in February. “The new shop […] will be the largest we have opened in Poland so far. We want to guarantee the availability of the brand’s full offer and that it is displayed in the most attractive way possible,” said Dawid Zyskowski, the director of retail sales outlets at New Balance.

Outlet Park Szczeci, which is developed by Echo Investment, comprises app. 100 stores. It is currently part of the portfolio of Echo Polska Properties. The centre's new section, which opened in autumn 2016, includes a Media Expert store (over 900 sqm), a BeFit fitness club (1,500 sqm) and the Dom Lekarski medical centre (900 sqm). Another section with 20 stores is to be open in autumn 2017. Eventually, the outlet will offer 30,000 sqm of retail space.
