POLAND Coffee shop chain Starbucks has leased 110 sqm in the Galeria Libero shopping centre in Katowice. POLAND, Starbucks, Katowice, Patryk Kozakiewicz, Starbucks Polska, Mofo Architekci, Galeria Libero

It will be located on the ground floor near the main entrance. “We believe that our fourth café in Katowice will be welcomed by Starbucks fans and it will become another favourite meeting place,” said Patryk Kozakiewicz, the operations director at Starbucks Polska.

Galeria Libero, which has been designed by Mofo Architekci, is being built by Echo Investment on a 5.4 ha plot on ul. Tadeusza Kościuszki. It is to comprise a retail area of 45,000 sqm on three levels. Erbud is the general contractor. The opening is scheduled for August 2018. More than 50 pct of the retail area has already been leased.
