EUROPE The B&B Hotels group has chosen to introduce the Vertical Booking CRS reservation system for its hotels.
“We are starting an extensive digitisation project aimed at modernising our technology and adjusting it to cloud-based environments. Following an extensive market analysis we came to the conclusion that using Vertical Booking would be the first step in this direction,” says Jérôme Destors, the technology director of the B&B Hotels group.
“It is an honour to be chosen by a chain that has such a large number of hotels in its portfolio,” says Alberto Guadalupi, the president of Vertical Booking.
Vertical Booking CRS allows the distribution of rates and availability across all online and offline channels, such as direct booking engines via internet websites, IDS (OTA systems, travel agency systems and agents), central reservation offices (CRO) as well as hotel megasearch and GDS. The Virtual Booking CRS platform also includes business intelligence software and marketing solutions, such as a built-in widget for comparing OTA prices, a competitive price comparator, a built-in hotel application for increasing guest satisfaction and online opinion management.
B&B currently operates 396 hotels in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, the Czech Republic and Morocco. The group is also planning to increase its presence in Europe. In Poland the company is present in Warsaw (154 rooms), Łódź (149), Wrocław (140), Katowice (130) and soon in Kraków (130 – at the end of 2017). Vertical Bookings develops and sells CRS reservation systems that are used in more than 90 countries across the world. It has its branches in the US, the UK, France and Italy.
