POLAND Knight Frank has been chosen to manage of the Astris office building in Kraków, which is to be completed in a few weeks. The investor behind the project is Astris, with Cushman & Wakefield being the leasing agent.
The building, which is being developed on the Rondo Polsad roundabout, will comprise an office area of nearly 13,000 sqm as well as a car park for app. 160 cars and 70 bicycles. “Knight Frank now manages almost 100 commercial properties across Poland In Kraków, where we look after app. 100,000 sqm, Astris will join our portfolio of ‘green’ buildings,” commented Aneta Rogowicz-Gała, the director of the property management department at Knight Frank. The project has been designed in line with sustainable construction principles and is undergoing LEED certification with an expected ‘Gold’ rating. Re-Bau is the general contractor, while Tomasz Zawisza and Marek Trela were responsible for the architectural design. The construction process is being supervised by Tebodin Poland (part of the Bilfinger group), while law firm Crido is advising for the legal aspects of the project.
