600 new B&B Hotels by 2020
POLAND The B&B Hotels group is planning to open 600 new locations by 2020.

In Poland B&B’s strategy will be to open as many as five hotels per year. After the opening of 36 locations last year, the group closed the year with a network of 392 hotels. This represents a growth of 15 pct in its portfolio and an investment of EUR 424 mln.

“We are mostly targeting large hotel markets, such as Kraków, the TriCity, Poznań, Białystok, Lublin, Rzeszów, Zielona Góra, Olsztyn and Opole. And we are also considering more projects in Warsaw and Wrocław,” says Beatrice Bouchet, the CEO of B&B Hotels Polska.

B&B has hotels in France (253 hotels), Germany (90), Italy (24), Spain (19), Poland (5), Morocco (1) and the Czech Republic (1). The hotels that operate under the B&B brand comprise a total of 33,500 rooms, which had 6.8 mln stays in 2016 alone.

“In 2007, we operated 120 hotels; now we have almost 400. It would be ideal to have 1,000 locations, but we are aiming at 600 hotels globally with around 50,000 rooms by 2020,” reveals Fabrice Collet, the general director of the B&B Hotels group.
