POLAND Warsaw city council has chosen Moris as the general contractor for the development of the District Culture Centre in Ursynów district.
The contract is worth almost PLN 21.4 mln. A building is to be constructed with a combined useable area of 3,400 sqm and a car park with 107 parking spaces at the junction of ul. Indiry Gandhi and al. Komisji Edukacji Narodowej (next to Ursynów District Hall) by the end of August next year. The ground floor will include the entrance hall, a gallery, a music club, an auditorium and changing rooms. A complex of teaching rooms will be situated on the second and third floors. The building will also feature an auditorium with seating for 350 people and a stage fully fitted with stage equipment. The second floor will include administrative rooms and a multifunctional room with 100 seats, which will be suitable for hosting artistic events. The multifunctional room, which will have removable seats, could also be used as a ballet room.
