08 August 2017

POLAND The health resort in Konstancin-Zdrój near Warsaw has announced a rescue plan to resolve its financial difficulties, reports the Konstancin24.eu portal.
Previously reported investment plans have been replaced with proposed property sales. Already the cardiological hospital on ul. Gąsiorowskiego has been closed down and sold with the unit being moved to an extension of the hospital on ul. Sue Ryder. Two mansions are to be sold on ul. Wierzejewskiego, and ul Sułkowskiego (the Zagłobin mansion, which includes an extensive park), as well as a boarding house, a restaurant on ul. Źródlana the recently built Cafe Beza and some undeveloped land next to the Hugonówka café on ul. Mostowa, where an orchid house and a spring water fountain were to be built. The land near Konstancin Culture Centre makes up part of the park and could be purchased by the local authorities, reports Konstancin24.eu. The company is to develop its Hydrotherapy Centre and its Movement Therapy Centre at ul. Mostowa 5 as well as the hospital at ul. Sue Ryder 1. The health resort has also announced that it will be offering more commercial treatments, mainly due to the insufficient revenue generated by its contract with the National Health Fund.
