Argon ready for use
The leasable area of the building comes to 38,000 sqm
POLAND Torus has obtained the occupancy permit for the Argon building, the third phase of its Alchemia business complex development in Gdańsk.
The H-shaped building was handed over two months earlier than planned. Argon has 14 above-ground storeys with a total of almost 38,000 sqm gla, of which app. 36,000 sqm is office space. The area of a typical office level is 3,000 sqm. Tenants include Lufthansa Systems Poland, Luxoft, Grupa Wirtualna Polska, ING Bank Śląski and Damen Engineering Gdańsk – and the first will be moving into their new offices early this month.

“Currently over 50 pct of the space has been leased. Our talks with a few other tenants are coming to an end,” reveals Marcin Piątkowski, the commercialisation director of Torus.

Torus is also transferring its own offices to Argon. The ground floor of the building is designated for retail and service units, where a total of eleven different companies will be operate over a total area of 1,700 sqm, including nine culinary tenants. These include Starbucks, Gorąco Polecam Nowakowski, Sugoi Sushi, Alchemia Wina and Enjoy Food&life. A retail tenant and a bank will also be opening. A shopping arcade for pedestrians is to be built between the third and the fourth phase of Alchemia.
