Atal turns to bonds

Atal turns to bonds
Atal Baltica Towers in Gdańsk
POLAND Polish residential developer Atal has launched a bond issue programme. Under this, the company could issue one or perhaps more series of bonds with a value of up to PLN 60 mln.
Bond purchase proposals will be sent to a maximum of 149 individual addressees as part of a private issue. The developer is planning to float the new bonds on the Catalyst or BondSpot alternative trading markets. Raiffeisen Bank Polska will be responsible for the preparation and execution of the bond issue.

“In H1 this year we signed contracts to sell 16 pct more apartments than a year earlier. Because we are planning to add to our portfolio of development projects, we have decided to raise additional capital. The bond issue will allow us to secure funds for future projects,” explains Mateusz Juroszek, the vice-president of Atal.
