Tétris refurbishes Pekao entrance
According to Tétris on average communal areas need to be renovated every five years
POLAND Tétris has finished the refurbishing the entrance hall in the Lipowy Office Park complex in Warsaw, where Pekao bank is headquartered.

Tétris both designed and built the new entranceway while the building remained in operation with the work taking four weeks including weekends. “The recently refurbished entrance hall of Bank Pekao’s main office is an example of how to restore the glory of an interior at a relatively low cost. In older buildings such as Lipowy Office Park, such a facelift really increases the attractiveness of the space for customers,” claims Łukasz Łoziński from Tétris. According to Tétris on average communal areas need to be renovated every five years, which is due to changes in fashion and tenant requirements as well as changes in technology. Installations frequently require modernisation. Pekao chose a design with a motif of colourful rectangular shapes that create a three-dimensional chessboard. “What was most difficult was to find a happy medium between the changes and not interfering with the original structure of the building,” says Łukasz Łoziński. “Instead of destroying the stone flooring we laid down a high quality carpet on it. The walls were covered with a special vinyl wallpaper and special soundproofing panels that also acted as decoration. Everything had to comply with restrictive quality and fire norms,” he added. The area is livened up by furniture such as a coffee table with an openwork base, white openwork lamp shades and chairs with perforated backrests. Lipowy Office Park is a Warsaw complex of office building which was built in 2009.
