Carrefour leases 6,000 sqm from Atrium

POLAND French supermarket chain Carrefour is to open two new concept stores in Atrium Poland centres: Focus Bydgoszcz and Atrium Promenada in Warsaw.

The two stores each of 3,000 sqm will replace former Alma delicatessens. In Atrium Promenada in Warsaw, the new hypermarket will be in the part of the centre currently under redevelopment and is scheduled to open in December, while the store in Bydgoszcz is to be opened at the end of October 2017.

‘We are happy with the signing of the agreements between Atrium and Carrefour for the lease of space in two key projects of Atrium's portfolio. Attracting such a tenant proves the strong market position of our properties and our position as a reliable investor, property developer and administrator’, claims Jolanta Wawrzyszuk, the COO of Atrium Poland Real Estate Management.
