Auchan becomes Galeria
The mall is both managed and leased by Immochan
POLAND The Auchan Łomianki shopping centre is being rebranded as Galeria Łomianki with the name change to take effect from September 21st.

The five-year-old mall is to receive a new logo and is to be extensively marketed under the slogan ‘Journey to the World of Fashion’. The weekend campaign to support the sales of outlets within the centre includes a competition open to the centre’s customers. “Talking with our tenants as well as the changes taking place on the retail real estate market of Warsaw and its immediate vicinity have convinced us of the need to change our name and hold a competition for the design of a new logo for the centre. Once the formal procedures and the design work for the rebranding have been completed, the centre will start operating under the name Galeria Łomianki. The new logo and a new signposting system to match the new look will be placed on the façade and within the building soon,” says Hanna Gailitis, the manager of the centre. Galeria Łomianki has a leasable area of 35,000 sqm with 100 stores and a refurbished restaurant area. The mall is both managed and leased by Immochan.
