Riverview will contain 282 apartments
POLAND The foundation stone ceremony has taken place for the Riverview residential development in Gdańsk. Vastint Poland, the developer of the project, expects sale of the apartments to being in mid-2019, when the estate is completed.
Riverview will comprise seven residential buildings with a total useable area of 14,600 sqm. They will contain 282 apartments, from studios of penthouses including one- and two- level suites, with the largest measuring 135 sqm. It is also to feature a courtyard garden, a playground, an indoor fitness club and a barbecue area. The project is being developed at the junction of ul. Na Stępce and ul. Angielska Grobla close to the Polish Baltic Philharmonic and with a view onto Ołowianka island. The general contractor is CFE Polska, part of Belgian CFE Group, while the design – which is to complement the historic buildings in the neighbourhood – has been created by the APA Wojciechowski architectural studio. An application is to be made for a LEED certificate for the complex.

Magnus d'Oldenburg, the commercial residential manager at Vastint, has commented: "I am convinced that the project will be well-received by our prospective clients. Some have already expressed their interest in purchasing the apartments (…) We want to offer a finished product and not a virtual apartment in the early stages of construction. Such an approach will ensure that our clients, choosing Vastint’s offer, are convinced they have made a wise decision. It will also guarantee the simplification of the sales transaction process.”

Vastint is part of the Swiss-based Interogo Holding, itself formerly part of the Ikea Group.
