CTP buys Chitila
The park currently has 45,000 sqm gla
ROMANIA CTP has purchased Chitila Logistic Park for EUR 17.3 mln from UBM Development.
CTP intends to hold around 1 mln sqm of leasable space in Romania by the end of next year. , the leading European real estate developer. The park is to the northwest of Bucharest 7 km from the A1 motorway. The park currently has an area of 93,000 sqm with a gla of 45,000 sqm and 48.000 sqm surplus land for further development. CLP is fully leased at present to tenants such as Havi Logistics, Europharma and Ringier Print. CTP plans to start construction of a further 13,000 sqm in the park at the end of the year.
“The decision to buy Chitila Logistic Park is in line with our continuous investments made in the last couple of months. We aim to grow our stock of industrial and logistics space, both nearby Bucharest and at a national level, in order to respond to the increased demand from the market and to satisfy our clients’ need to expand their businesses. Other reasons were the existing long-term lease contracts, the current tenants from this park that are well-known and important companies and the strategic area where CLP is located”, explained Ana Dumitrache, the country head of CTP Romania.
