InterContinental now open
The hotel is owned by Delta Holding, but will be operated by the IHG Group
SLOVENIA the InterContinental Hotel in Ljubljana has been officially opened.

At the symbolic opening, Marija Desivojevic Cvetković, the senior vice president of Delta Holding, gave the hotel keys to Angela Brav, the CEO of InterContinental Hotels Group for Europe, who in turn handed over the keys to Živorad Vasić, the area general manager of IHG who then passed them to Miloš Cerović, general manager of the hotel.

Hotel InterContinental Ljubljana was developed by Serbian-based Delta Holding in an investment of EUR 50 mln. The hotel has 165 rooms, a restaurant on the 20th floor and a spa center on the 18th floor overlooking the city. It is the only five-star hotel in Ljubljana and the tallest building in the city.

The hotel is owned by Delta Holding,butwill be operated by the IHG Group. It welcomed its first guests at the end of August and over its first few weeks of operations it had an average occupancy rate of over 50 pct.
