Sales begin for Bohema apartments

Sales begin for Bohema apartments
apartments rang in size from 27 sqm to 135 sqm
POLAND Apartment sales have begun in the Bohema project at ul. Szwedzka 20 in Warsaw.

Okam has just completed the site preparation itself and construction work is scheduled to begin at around the beginning of next year. The Bohema mixed-use project will create residential, office, retail and service space in the revitalisation of the former Pollena factory, which dates back to the 19th century. The project is to be completed in five years with the first stage is to be delivered at the end of 2019 (although in 2016 it was scheduled for 2018), in which 3030 apartments are to be constructed. The apartments will have range in size from 27 sqm to 135 sqm. “Bohema is an urban space that harks back to the tradition of town squares where community life used to be focused,” said Arie Koren, the CEO of Okam Capital. The project was designed by Grupa 5 Architekci while the 14,500 sqm commercial section located around the factory chimney, which includes the Brew House, the Boiler Room and the Glycerine House was designed by Sud Architects. It will contain service facilities with restaurants, cafés, bars and a shopping arcade. The communal sections of the project are to include the original bricks from the demolished sections of the factory and the revitalised buildings will keep their original names. The investor is also planning to attract local businesses as well as arts and crafts. A building permit has been issued for the renovation work. Okam will sell the apartments, while CBRE has been appointed as the exclusive agent for the lease of the commercial section.
