Segro becomes brighter

02 November 2017

POLAND Segro has changed all the external light fittings in its Polish parks for LEDs. Over 3,500 light fittings were exchanged over a six-month period.

The lighting within the warehouse buildings is also currently being modernised, with over 3,000 indoor fittings already exchanged and electricity bills reduced by around 30 pct. “With the complete exchange of external light fittings, our clients have not only gained real savings but, most importantly, their comfort and security have also been improved. Manoeuvring and deliveries at night are also better lit, which translates into greater security,” says Waldemar Witczak, a regional director at Segro. LED lighting is provided as standard in Segro’s new projects.
