Papa John's sets up quality control centre
Ideal Distribution Center has over 40,000 sqm
POLAND American restaurant chain Papa John’s is expanding its presence on the Polish market and is leasing nearly 1,600 sqm of warehouse, production and office space in the Ideal Distribution Center in Warsaw’s Okęcie district.

Axi Immo advised the tenant in the negotiations. Papa John's International is the world's third largest pizza chain, with over 5,000 restaurants in 45 countries. In October, the company announced that it would be opening more than 20 restaurants in Poland. In Poland the company is represented by franchisee PJ Western Retail Investments, which already operates 120 restaurants in Russia and the CIS. PJ Western, through its subsidiary Lech Pizza has leased 1055 sqm of warehouse and production space, with 246 sqm of offices and a 284 sqm mezzanine for archives. “As part of our strategy for introducing Papa John's to the Polish market, we started to look for suitable facility for our quality control centre. This is the place where we produce fresh dough for our pizza and store the ingredients which are delivered to Papa John’s outlets several times a week. We knew that it would have to meet health and safety as well as location requirements. Finally, we chose the Ideal Distribution Center, which meets our expectations in all these respects,” states Ewelina Rzedkowska, the Operation Director at Papa John's Poland. Ideal Distribution Center is a small business unit distribution centre that combines warehouse and office space. It consists of six warehouse and office buildings with a total area of 40,000 sqm.
