EU help for Słupsk startups

10 November 2017

POLAND The Pomeranian Regional Development Agency (PARR) is establishing a specialist business service centre that will offer 3D scanning, printing, and thermal imaging services in Słupsk.

Two former hospital buildings in the city are being revitalised with specialist studios fully equipped with the latest technology. The total investment is in excess of PLN 14.3 mln, nearly PLN 6.7 mln of which will come from the EU’s Regional Operational Programme for the Pomeranian Province for 2014-2020. The centre is mainly being established for companies that are part of the Słupsk Technology Incubator (SIT) [Słupski Inkubator Technologiczny], which operates within the Słupsk Special Economic Zone and is managed by PARR. The centre will also offer consulting services on a wide range of issues including intellectual property rights, management and branding strategies. The centre is to start its operations in Q4 2018.
