AmRest buys Wrocław hospital

Eurobuild CEE 13 November 2017
POLAND AmRest, which operates chain restaurants, cafés and fast food bars across the region, including KFC, Pizza Hut and Burger King, has bought at auction a former hospital on ul. Traugutta in Wroclaw.
AmRest, which is headquartered in the city, turned out to be the only party interested in the sale, which was held by the Lower Silesian Provincial Government, with the property being sold for PLN 21.21 mln. The hospital complex (the construction of which started at the end of the 19th century) covers an area of 1.8 ha between ul. Traugutta, Żabia Ścieżka and the river Oława. This includes four large and six smaller buildings with a combined area of over 9,000 sqm.
