EUR 81 mln for Galeria Bałtycka
Galeria Bałtycka first opened in 2007
POLAND The Deutsche Hypothekenbank is to refinance the Galeria Bałtycka shopping centre in Gdańsk with a loan of nearly EUR 81 mln.

“With this attractive financing deal we are pleased to be able to extend our real estate portfolio in our target market of Poland. Gdańsk is one of the largest retail markets in Poland and Galeria Bałtycka has been generating above-average results with its large catchment area and a very good tenant-mix,” explains Sabine Barthauer, a board member of Deutsche Hypo. The shopping centre was opened in 2007 and is part of the Deutsche EuroStore portfolio. It has three floors of retail with around 200 stores and two floors of parking facilities for over 1,000 vehicles. The centre is managed by ECE Projektmanagement.
