Globalworth shows off Emilia
The building is to be developed in an investment of EUR 150 mln
POLAND Globalworth Real Estate, which is to take a majority stake in Griffin Premium RE, has published pictures of the mixed-use tower that will stand on the site of the Emilia pavilion in Warsaw.
The new building at ul Emilii Plater will have a gla of between 42,000 sqm and 50,000 sqm, with some of the space to be leased to a hotel for a period of 20-25 years. The company is already in advanced negotiations with a potential operator. The cost of the proposed skyscraper is to come to over EUR 150 mln and the structure should be completed in 2021.
Globalworth will be the developer of the project because of its future takeover of Griffin Premium RE, a transaction that the company has recently announced to be no longer conditional, because all of its conditions have been fulfilled.
