Booking.com with Budapest office
DVM designed the offices of Booking.com
HUNGARY Online travel agency Booking.com has opened a 470 sqm office in the Platina Tower of the Bank Center complex on Szabadság tér 7 in Budapest.

DVM was responsible for the design and fit out of the new space. "Our goal was to create an environment where the employees’ own experiences improve their quality of work and collaboration as well as boost their performance and creativity," said Ida Kiss, the chief designer at DVM. The smaller meeting rooms are themed on popular Hungarian tourist destinations, such as Hévíz, Tokaj and lake Balaton with their stylised graphic representations decorating the glass walls. The walls are covered with full-scale landscape photographs. The youthful atmosphere of the office is reinforced by clamshell chairs, lampshades and cushions that harmonise with the colours of the photos while the Danube meeting room is decorated with employees’ own pictures from their travels. The dominant feature of the Budapest meeting room is a montage of the most popular global destinations of Booking.com. "The planning took almost half a year of continuous consultation. While maintaining the highest standards of comfort, the interior design reflects the image of a global company, is functional and displays both local traditions as well as the characters of the Budapest team," she added.
