POLAND The leasing negotiations for 70 ha of urban land owned by the Pomeranian Investment Centre (PCI) near the harbour of Gdańsk have begun.

InvestGDA is responsible for the commercialisation. At the end of December a tender for stage I of the construction work which will result in access roads being built and a further tender has been announce to extend utilities to the site. The access roads should be completed by the end of 2018. “The local development plan allows for a diverse range of uses for the land. The announcement of the tender is a signal for investors to start talking to us about their plans and needs,” says Alan Aleksandrowicz, the president of InvestGDA. Tenants can either build their own industrial facilities on the landunder a long-term lease agreement or they may use the buildings that are to be built by InvestGDA. The agency expects a lot of interest from the logistics, industrial, manufacturing, food and processing industries. InvestGDA has already successfully developed land on ul. Kartuska, where over 30 companies currently operate in the Maszynowa Industry and Technology Park.
