Dragon to buy office building and shopping centre

UKRAINE The Ukrainian competition authorities has approved Ukrainian investor Dragon Capital to acquire stakes in two Ukrainian companies, which own the Eco Tower business centre in Zaporizhia and the Victoria Gardens shopping centre in Lviv, writes commercialproperty.ua.

Dragon Capital Investments has approval to acquire a majority stake in Ukrainskaya Kommercheskaya Nedvizhimost, which owns the Eco Tower business centre in Zaporizhia . The 19-storey building completed in 2011 has 18,700 sqm of space. The company was also given the green light to buy a majority stake in Feniks Capital which developed the Victoria Gardens shopping centre in Lviv in 2016. The centre has 54,500 sqm of retail space.

In 2016-2017 Dragon Capital Investments made a number of acquisitions in Ukraine including the East Gate Logistic warehouse park in Boryspil, a 60 pct stake in the West Gate Logistic in Stoyanka near Kyiv, the Piramida shopping centre, Prime and Euroasia office building (all in Kyiv) and a logistics complex in Bucha close to Kyiv.
