Tomek graduated from the faculty of modern languages at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, where he also started his journalist career in the late 1980s. He has worked in the real estate press since 2005, covering the residential market for ‘Eurobuild CEE’ magazine as well as the new technologies and property management sectors. Sometimes he can be heard on Polish Radio 2, where he reviews the press on the morning programme. At other times he can be seen in the Bieszczady or Beskid Niski mountains, where he enjoys rambling with no fixed purpose or destination in mind.

V.Offices has already received BREEAM 'Oustanding' certification at the design stage
POLAND The V.Offices building in Kraków has been nominated in two categories of the BREEAM Awards 2018, organised by the BRE association, which established the sustainable development certificate.
The office building has been nominated in the commercial project design and Central and Eastern Europe (a regional award) categories. The award presentation will take place in London on March 6th. V.Offices has been designed by the Iliard Architecture & Project Management studio for the project’s developer, AFI Europe Polska. At the design stage it has already obtained the top ‘Outstanding’ BREEAM rating.

“This is the highest rating for a building in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. Our team has come up with uniquely well thought out solutions and I believe that they will be appreciated by the future tenants and users of V.Offices,” declared Łukasz Koziana, the co-founder of the Iliard studio.

In December 2017 the V.Offices building was also included in the ‘Christmas Crackers’ ranking published by BRE of the most interesting projects awarded a BREEAM certificate in 2017 and judged to be one of the ten most interesting office projects in the world. The building will have six above-ground floors and two underground levels. Its gross leasable area will amount to 24,700 sqm, with the first stage to be completed in Q1 2019. Knight Frank is the leasing agent for the property.
