POLAND Massive Design has redesigned the interior of the MSD’s 6,500 sqm office, which takes up six floors in the WTT tower in Warsaw.

The previous interior design dated back to 2004 and was also the work of Massive Design. The new design is intended to facilitate work within the office and improve communication between departments and staff. Departments have now been organised on the floors on the basis of how closely they work together, which was determined at the planning stage. Each floor now has a large and easily accessible rest and refreshment room with a kitchen and the working space now includes design tables and ad hoc meeting areas as well as open booths for individuals and small groups. There are both formal meeting rooms with conference chairs as well as informal areas with bean bags in energising colours. “While designing the previous office for MSD we were definitely closer to a heavy design concept with a lot of dark wood and the conservative style of a classic American office. With the current project we’re doing a 180 degree turn,’ claims Massive Design.
