Mostostal Warszawa revitalises in Łódź
The project involves the renovation of buildings along ul. Tuwima
POLAND Mostostal Warszawa has signed a design and build contract worth almost PLN 29 mln to revitalise a complex of historic buildings at ul. Tuwima 46 in Łódź.

“The work also includes the development of the area including the infrastructure and an exit road. The existing centre, which includes a street-facing building with an annexe on the eastern side of the plot will be renovated and it will gain a new superstructure,” says Artur Soczewica, the director of the Central Branch of Mostostal Warszawa. “Meanwhile the existing single-storey building to the north of the site and some small buildings to the west will be demolished and replaced by an office and service building with the ground floor facing the street dedicated to services. Additionally, the internal courtyard is to include a library which will part of the extended northern annexe. The plot is near the Łódź Fabryczna railway station as well as the EC1 complex, the project is being co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund as part of the Operational Programme for the Łódź Province for the years 2014-2020. The renovation of the buildings along ul. Tuwima is part of the Regional Revitalisation of the Centre of Łódź programme which comprises a total of eight projects.
