Łódź museum generates electricity

Eurobuild CEE 25 January 2018
Łódź museum generates electricity
The exhibits demonstrate how electricity is generated
POLAND The Science and Technology Centre has opened in the EC1 complex in Łódź with an exhibition area of 8,000 sqm. The project’s costs came to PLN 45.5 mln.

The centre was opened on January 7th in a 100-year-old renovated building that was once part of a former power station. The conversion work took over two years and received PLN 18.3 mln in financing from the European Regional Development Fund. The museum has three themed viewing paths: electricity generating, the development of civilization and the micro world and macro world. Multimedia installations will show how electricity is generated and there will also be interactive experimental displays. The centre is expected to attract over 400,000 visitors a year.
